The Assembly Learning Grant for Further Education Scheme - ALG (FE)- is to encourage people aged 19 or over and living in Wales to continue with their education.
ALG (FE) is a payment of up to £1,500 if you are studying full time and up to £750 if you are part time. It is dependent on your household income. See How much ALG can I get? to find out how these amounts will be worked out.
You can spend this money on whatever you want. It can help to cover day-to-day costs such as travel, books and equipment.
